Matterport keeps improving and adding new services, and recently added some cool features such as exterior 360 panoramas, Mattertaggin - Allowing to pin-point special features and even connect between different 3D models, and the support for using VR goggles for a much more real experience, when exploring the spaces

Since the demand for aerial photography is growing so fast, I started working on this project and hopefully to launch my drone sometime in May 2017, once I finalize my certification test and extensive drone piloting training.

Check out this recent 3D project of this beautiful place that I have completed recently, near Yosemite National Park. 7 beautiful vacation cottages in a green and peaceful location.

Pentax Sensor Shifting https://www.boazphotos.com/blog/2016/9/pentax-sensor-shifting Sometimes even the widest angle is not wide enough to capture an entire building. Here is a simple trick of how this can be done, using the Pentax Sensor Shirting capabilities.

Pentax built their cameras with a 5-axis sensor-shift system, which allows moving the sensor in small steps left, right, up, down and angled.

In this photo, I couldn't fit the entire building in the frame, even though I was using a wide angle lens. There was simply no room to walk back and capture the entire building. So I took 4 photos, in each one I moved the sensor to a different direction, creating 4 images and then using a very simple tool in Photoshop, I merges all the photos into a final image.
